Sustainability does not by any chance mean compromising on luxury. Our pieces are designed to be easy, versatile and practical, as well as luxe and premium quality. At Rooh Collective, our goal and vision is to create long-lasting fashion pieces, to help employ artisans in impoverished communities and keep their art and skills alive, as well as celebrating the female form, empowering women and allowing them to embrace their individuality. We want our dresses to provide confidence, femininity, comfort and style all rolled into one.
MADE WITH LOVE
Propelled by our love of travel and the beauty of the natural world, our dresses have been designed with both in mind. When choosing the colours, we had shortlisted twelve, all of which have been inspired by the colour aesthetics of summer, sunsets, beaches and nature. We have kept patterns and the mixing of colours minimal, to allow you to choose your favourite shade, in-keeping with your style and skin tone.
When choosing the fabric, it’s essential for us to respect and pay tribute to the environment, and so only use organic cotton to make out dresses. Our entire collection has been made from a hand-woven fibre called Khadi, in the villages near Aurangabad in western India. This fabric is very versatile, keeping you cooler in summer and warmer once the sun goes down. Of course, along with being sustainable and environmental friendly, organic Khadi cotton is biodegradable, breathable and absorbent. We also love that it is anti-static and resistant to stretching, therefore lasting longer in your wardrobe and promoting a slower fashion.
Our designs are inspired by our love of art, travel and adventure and we hope that your Rooh dress is with you for yours.
MADE FOR EVERY OCCASION
Each dress design, form the off the shoulder maxi Esha to the midi Sonia, has been created to transform you from the beach to the bar effortlessly. Worn alone, they are cool enough for a hot Australian summer’s day and can be layered with a jacket for those cooler nights or autumn days. Our crinkle cotton dresses do not require an iron before you head out for the night.
The versatility of our dresses, means that you can take your Rooh with you wherever you go.

This focus from our founder is also represented in the shape and fit of the dresses. With a distinctive yet free-flowing silhouette they suit most body shapes and will always look feminine and elegant.
